Nestled less than 15 miles from central
Many cheaply bought horses have been turned in to multiple winners, and
firm favourites such as Idle Power and Gavroche have helped illuminate
the yard’s ability to produce tough and consistent horses at a higher
level. Not only that, but win, lose or draw, owners are provided with a
lot of fun and a very open and honest policy. The yard is complemented
by having a separate stud and recuperation centre 9 miles away near
Dorking, which is run by Jim’s wife Pippa. She oversees all the breeding
stock, as well as having horses out of training for holidays or
recuperation from injury. This is also where the youngsters are broken
in ready to come into full training.
