Paddock Space
Paddock Space was created by Pippa Boyle to offer Racehorse Trainers and
Owners a professional service close to the Epsom area. We offer high
quality facilities and care for your horse, whether they are yearlings
that require breaking, older horses that require rest and recuperation,
a good holiday or post-operative attention. Our staff are all very
knowledgeable with extensive experience of racehorses and thoroughbreds.
The majority of horses in training often benefit from having a break
away from their everyday surroundings. When they visit Paddock Space
they can enjoy the best quality grass and completely unwind in our
relaxed surroundings. Over the years we have found that some horses
benefit from being turned out with other horses to socialise and
remember what it is to be a horse again whereas others prefer their own
company and are happier either with 1 companion or out on their own. We
also offer individual turnout for horses having a mini break from
training where they can go out for a week or a month to freshen up to
return to the track bouncing and ready to go!
We have become especially skilled at putting weight on to horses who do
not easily carry condition and return them to their trainers well
furnished so that they have something to work with. Alternatively some
of our clients request their horses do not put on too much condition as
they may only be having short breaks from their racing campaigns to
freshen them up.
We ensure that your horses' experience with us is totally different from
their usual in-training routine. Where possible we keep all our holiday
visitors turned out, whatever the weather, they wear heavy weight
turnout rugs during the winter and are very well fed. The majority of
horses even love playing in the snow!
When we bring them in from the field we can begin their early fitness
work before they return to training. We offer them a range of different
stable toys if they are stabled with us so there is something to keep
them stimulated. Many owners have been so impressed by how much their
horses have liked the toys they purchase them their own to take back
into training with them.

As we have expanded we have collected a band of broodmares, 5 of which
are based with us. We are now beginning to see their offspring on the
track, and this provides not only us, but many of our clients an
opportunity to follow a horse from birth to the racecourse, as whilst
visiting their older horses on holiday our clients socialise with our
foals, often becoming very fond of them. We also have clients who are
hopefully going to enjoy their first home grown runners this year after
entering breeding syncidates and retaining one of the foals to race.
We can cater for all horses on injury recuperation, whether this be box
rest or post operative care.
We provide the ideal site for your future champion to grow and mature
ready for the start of it's career or for your hardened campaigner to
rest and relax ready to do battle again!
